Dr. Michael L. Brown is founder and president of ICN Ministries, which is devoted to taking the message of repentance and revival to Israel, the Church, and the Nations. He met the Lord in 1971 as a sixteen year-old, heroin-shooting, LSD-using Jewish rock drummer. Since then, he has preached throughout America and around the world, and he is the author of twenty books, some of which have been translated into more than a dozen languages. He is committed to helping raise up a holy band of consecrated believers who will spark a spiritual, moral, and cultural revolution in the land.
Dr. Brown served as a leader in the Brownsville Revival from 1996-2000, and out of this significant spiritual movement, he and his leadership team birthed the FIRE School of Ministry (now based in Concord, North Carolina), which Dr. Brown serves as president and faculty member. At present, graduates of the school are now bearing fruit for the Lord throughout the United States and in more than twenty-five nations.
As a Jewish believer in Jesus, Dr. Brown is active in Jewish evangelism, debating rabbis on radio, TV, and college campuses, as well as teaching the Church about God's eternal purposes for Israel and the Jewish people. He is also a published Old Testament and Semitic scholar, holding a Ph.D. in Near Eastern Languages and Literatures from New York University. He has served as a visiting or adjunct professor at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, Fuller Theological Seminary, Denver Theological Seminary, the King’s Seminary, and Regent University School of Divinity.
Out of his burden to see God’s people rise up as a prophetic witness to society, he established the Coalition of Conscience in Charlotte, North Carolina, and he is now fully engaged in reaching out to homosexual men and women with compassion while taking a strong stand against homosexual activism, and he is a regular speaker at Focus on the Family’s Love Won Out conferences. His work has been featured in the Washington Post, the Baltimore Sun, the Charlotte Observer, the Charlotte Magazine, Citizen magazine, and other publications.
Dr. Brown is also the host of the Jewish outreach, documentary TV show, Think It Thru, which airs on the INSP network and reaches 80 million homes nationally and 160 million homes worldwide, and the host of the daily, syndicated radio program, the Line of Fire.
