This document contains a lengthy email discussion between Yisroel C. Blumenthal, an Orthodox Jewish rabbi, and myself, focusing on the twelve chapters in the book of Isaiah which lead up to Isaiah 53, which followers of Jesus often consider the most compelling Messianic prophecy in the Bible. I trust you'll find this discussion helpful in your own pursuit of truth. Rabbi Blumenthal gives further background in his introductory comments in this document.

This seems to sum up much of the debate -- Romans 10: 1 Brethren, my heart's desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved. 2 For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge. 3 For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God. 4 For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth. --- So they do until this day.
