I think the problem with Christians supporting Trump is that they have different standards for judging people. They are not supposed to be "respecters of persons" as the Bible says. I think it means they are not supposed to say that someone is so great that they automatically believe them. They are supposed to judge everyone fairly. Even if you like someone a lot, you are supposed to keep an open mind that that person might have done something wrong too. President Trump does certain things that Christians like, but they should still not be "respecters of persons" and consider the possibility that he might have done something wrong, on purpose or unintentionally, and wait for the investigations to end. Instead of saying it is all "fake news", they should be open to the possibility that even someone they consider to be great could also have done something wrong and then lied to cover it up. It is hard to actually do things like be fair when you judge people. People hate some people and then assume they are wrong always like Obama and Clinton. And then they like someone and always assume the best about them. Both of these things are wrong. Kenneth Greifer

Some of us didn't as much vote FOR Trump as we voted AGAINST Hillary. (No one seems to talk about this). Still, I am thankful for his positions on many issues, and have no doubt he was elected because of God's hand, and is being used by God to bring about events leading to Christ's return. He is a very flawed human, as have been many preceding Presidents (...Roosevelt, Kennedy, Johnson, Clinton, and Obama all had major sexual flaws). I think of the flaws of King David, Abraham, Moses, and of course of myself. So much to regret, yet God can use us all. President Trump is working hard! I would rather have his brutal and sometimes embarrassing honesty, than the sly, smiling smugness of past Presidents. I don't worry about the tweets and just look at the accomplishments, and there is a lot to be thankful for. God can use us despite and in fact, because of our weaknesses. I believe from where he now sits, President Trump is probably wishing he had done many things differently earlier in life. Welcome to the club. I thank God He has it all under control. I am not worried. He will fulfill His purposes in His time.
