"There is today a robust field of Christian apologetics focused on the questions of the origins of the universe and the claims of Darwinian evolution, and it includes highly-respected scientists and scholars who affirm unequivocally that all the evidence points to the existence of an intelligent Creator." Name one.

As I read the article, Proverbs 22:6, Mk. 4:5-7, and Gal. 6:7 come to mind. The first is self-explanatory. It didn't happen. With the advent of the Sexual Revolution the Society where everyone was a Christian (which most really weren't) has ceased and now it's much more acceptable, yeah even cool, to be an Unbeliever. So the Posers naturally were not training their children to be Christ-followers. Part of that must also lay at the feet of churches. Once the "notches in the Bible" philosophy took hold and transitioned into the false gospel of Easy-Believism, Seeker-Sensitive, Emergent Church, the idea of Discipleship went out the window right along with doctrinal teachings, Theology, Christology, Bibliology, Ecclesiology, Soteriology, etc. So IF any Gospel seeds were sown, and that's a big "if", they fell on rocky ground or were choked out by the various teachings of Evolution, etc. from the secular world. And the seeds of disobedience to Christ's command to "go and make disciples" turned into disobedience and rebellious children. Too bad folks didn't remember that you not only reap what you sow but more than you sow and later than you sow.
