I propose there is a difference between Jewish people living in Israel, and a Jewish nation. Biblical Israel as a nation rarely a "light to the nations." As for terrorism, Jewish settlers in the West Bank frequently commit terrorist acts upon Palestinians. (I have lived in the West Bank and believe my eyes.) Hamas is also terrorist. The recent outbreak of violence began with Jews pushing out Palestinians out of their homes in East Jerusalem, and violent Jews marching through the area shouting hate to Palestinians. And as you should know, the continual confiscation of Palestinian living space in the West Bank and Jerusalem continues. The analogy is the European settlement of North America that pushed the native Indians further west and finally onto reservations. Sometimes the Indians responded violently to the whites as their lands were confiscated, which caused a disproportionate violent retaliation onto the Indians. God called forth Jews to represent Him. Mistreatment of Palestinians does not represent God.

Is it possible to peacefully criticize the policies of the government of Israel without being accused of anti-semitism?
