I don't think President Trump is divisive in any fundamental sense. Actually the media and Democrats are continually making insane accusations against him. It's mainly the media that are divisive. People are sharply divided over Pres. Trump, but as Dr. Brown points out the same would be true if Pence or any other conservative was the President and he'd be attacked in very similar ways. What are specific examples of President Trump's alleged divisiveness? His criticism of the media? How does that create divisions among the general public? Plus it deserves to be criticized. This article lists just some of many examples of why that's true: https://theintercept.com/2019/01/20/beyond-buzzfeed-the-10-worst-most-embarrassing-u-s-media-failures-on-the-trumprussia-story A better example of a truly divisive President is Obama, who constantly injected race into everything, and had a very race oriented Department of Justice.
