I largely agree with your article. And yet, you state, "We must have divine visitation. We must have revival. We must have awakening." What happened to "We must have repentance", or "We must have the fear of the Lord"? And the one I really like, "We must have a new reformation", i.e., one that truly ends the idea that because of God's abundant grace, rich mercy and unconditional love, He understands and forgives our "mistakes" repeatedly, meaning we don't really have anything to fear from our loving Father. Somehow, we just ignore all the scriptures that tell us things like, "if you live according to the flesh, you will die", or "let everyone who names the name of the Lord depart from iniquity". It seems as though Calvinism has deeply influenced the theology of even those who don't consider themselves Calvinists. Perhaps this pandemic will at long last strike some fear into the hearts of those who think they don't truly need to change. Would it be a blessing in the from of judgement from God if it did?
