Doctor Brown you said "If you've read the Gospels, you know that Jesus taught that the two greatest commandments are that we love God with all of our heart, soul, and strength, and that we love our neighbor as ourselves (see Matt. 22:35-40)". And you said " my solidarity with God and His Word feels to them like rejection, judgmentalism and even hatred". First "we love God with all of our heart, soul, and strength" what does that mean, what would I say to a homosexual? I cannot agree with "homosexual practice" if I am to love God first I must love His Truth in Scripture and I must stand firm in it, I can only judge the wrong that you do "the fruit that you bear" I cannot judge your "eternal state". I am to love you as "my neighbor" meaning I should tell you the Truth that I stand firm in. I do not reject, I do not judge, I do not hate you but I love God first and I love His truth and I am to love you to such a degree that I should tell you of the Truth that I stand firm in. This what I would say Doctor Brown to a homosexual.
