Oh, I'm sorry, I posted that twice; I saw it again unposted on my laptop, so I pushed it again. Sorry about that.

Would this apply also to unrepentant Christian overeaters? Since overeating can be compared to drunkenness? Also, can't overeating be considered idolatry, since we are obeying our flesh and not our God? An idol is something that is more important to us than God is, so we choose obeying it over God, so overeating is basically idolatry, right? I just can't see kicking an unrepentant Christian overeater out of the fellowship, because this would probably cause them to turn to food even more for comfort and they would go into deeper bondage, but maybe this is what God wants to get them to repent?

I Christian should only be disfellowshipped when the Holy Spirit leaves them and they loose fellowship with Jesus. Because if the person who has been disfellowshipped still has a good grace filled relationship with Jesus doesn't that mean the people that disfellowshipped him have disfellowshipped themselves from Jesus.
