I would love to see another Jesus Revolution. I do think it's the fault of the Christian who will not stand up and stand out. Back in the 60s we had an explosion in the faith that caused many many hippies to be born again! Of course they left everything that is not pleasing to God behind, including the drugs and sinful lifestyles. Things are so complicated now with people just involved with themselves, and it's not so easy anymore to see someone shining their light for the Lord unless they come up to you and start preaching. Many just won't even accept a witnessing tract because they are so involved with themselves.
The other day I placed a tract on the windshield of a parked car and unknown to me because of the darkly tinted windows, an occupant got mad and yelled for me to not do that.
Of course, I just took that witnessing opportunity to another person. However I doubt if the man knew what was on that small piece of paper his reaction would have been the same.

Christianity is based on the Word of God: "Faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God." The work that Christ gave to His followers was mainly preaching the Word, making converts, baptizing and discipling the converts. The miracles merely confirmed the authenticity of the message.
When the Roman government finally accepted Christianity as the true faith, it also (unfortunately) injected a lot of pagan doctrines and practices, emphasizing works and rituals over the Word, which was lost to the common people as Latin became known to few other than clergy, in a hierarchy that was contrary to the message of the Gospel, where all are essentially equal.
When the Word began to be preached to the common people, and better yet put in their own languages and they were taught how to read, Christian civilization sprang up and began (with its handmaiden, true scientific research) to transform the world!
There were a number of Great Awakenings (we count 2 or 3 hear in the New World, but there were others before and after and elsewhere), but the handmaiden of science became infected with a false view, and expanded into areas where it didn't belong. Associated with the solidity and success of true science, the "authorities" and "experts" in these areas successfully convinced many theologians and religious leaders that the Bible began with some vague, mystical account of creation (at best, if not a complete myth dreamed up by ignorant men).
Ever since then (in the US, about the 1920s), the church has been crumbling because of this huge crack in its foundation. It's been hard to see due to things like the Great Depression, WWII, and the Rise of Communism, plus relatively small and often largely misguided efforts to restore faith (praise God for the success they did have!), but the rot has continued to grow like the threads of a fungus, and now we're seeing all sorts of mushrooms of evil popping up, and still, hardly anybody sees the source of the problem.
We keep talking about that passage "If my people, who are called by my name..." as if it means if enough of us pray for our country it will be converted, but we forget it says we must HUMBLE OURSELVES and turn from OUR wicked ways. We won't see a generation experiencing the power of God until enough believers repent and get right with God themselves.

“Media, (Democratic rhetoric) toward Kavanaugh, Supreme Court under scrutiny after assassination attempt!”
Incitement is wrong no matter who it comes from!

If this is true, we have no one to blame but ourselves.
