I would add other questions as well! 1. "What about the opponent?" Very little seems to be stated about the opponent other than an article I read somewhere stated he was divorced due to continual infidelity! 2. Should Christians receive an accusation against a brother or sister, in this case so late in the game, without proper evaluation or opportunity to defend themselves, especially when it is pretty obvious this is politically motivated and not principle! 3. Even so, we already know some of the primary accuser's testimony (yearbook esp.) has already been proven a lie! Even her stepson is on record as saying she lied. 4. Back to the opponent, what about the platform of the opponent? Do we automatically just vote for them because the brother/sister in Christ is being accused of something from many years ago? How many of us would want everything we did so many years ago dug out from under the blood? The very statement itself should let us all know where that is coming from. 5. What about the media? They media has a bias that I am surprised they even still try and hide. They are obviously protective of liberal left and get caught in fake news simply because, like the Pharisees with Jesus, only looking for what they can accuse conservative Christians with! (I wonder why VP Pense's dinner guest statement is no longer news)! Should we just react to their news regardless even though the media is trying to drive the narrative to its own end? We are celebrating Christmas. In Matthew 1, when Mary was "found" to be with Child through the Holy Spirit, though unlikely Joseph knew that part at the particular moment, Joseph, good man he was, was going to divorce her quietly. Basically the belief is he had already made up his mind what he was going to do. He might had delayed to ponder how he was going to implement his plan to the least damage for Mary, but regardless. he spent some time pondering even though he had the right of the law and culture to divorce her.He did not act out of the passions of the moment or the report! It was in that pondering time the Angel spoke to Joseph. Now, Alabama has as a Senator a man who himself is of questionable morals and political positions contrary to our faith all because of some last minute accusations which had not been properly vetted and Christians, along with conservatives entertained the accusations and were to stunned and afraid to ponder and be open to whether the accusations were true. A shepherd leads sheep, a butcher drives them. Maybe the question on the doc is politically are we being led or driven? I think we all know the answer to that!
