You seem to have completely missed Paul Ellis' point about there not being a verse about Jesus dieing again for sins. If the sacrifice on the cross does not apply to future sins then only those that came before Jesus could be saved. Every sin I have committed in my life is a future sin and so if the sacrifice was only for past and present sins He would have to repeat His sinless life culminating in the cross and resurrection.

Dr. Brown did create a hyper-grace definition. The problem is that he accuses some preachers into the definition publically and easily. It is too divisive. My church is using your book to segregate and judge people based on the preachers they are listening to.

TO Peter Jens. I am with you somewhat. I will not go far into your confusing diatribe, but do agree with the general premise. Christianity gives impossible rules, false promises, and stories to predicate its doctrines. It is contradictory, and deceptive in many levels, and a religion whose purpose is to confuse, cause shame, make into helpless and dependent sheep, and is a tool of satan to rule the world. May you and I be true lights and beacons of truth in a dark land.

I could easily destroy both arguments using bible scriptures, not man's doctrines, but will not, but will simply say that the bible is full of lies, contradictions, and intentionally evil teachings to cause submission and slavery of spiritual and physical means. However, I would like to address Cheyne, for being a new Christian, he is susceptible and swayed by every wind of doctrine, and is vulnerable to wolves in clergy clothes. Cheyn- do not let pastors who speak different doctrines confuse you. You are obviously easily taken by somebody who uses nothing but words. And instead of finding for yourself who is really speaking truth by reading the bible for yourself, you are relying on emotionalism. Any woman(or man) who wants to have sex with you or take your money could do the same. Remember that words are not a true reflection of character, nor of truth, anybody can lie, as does the devil. 2Co 11:13 For such men are false apostles, deceitful workmen, disguising themselves as apostles of Christ. 2Co 11:14 And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. First of all, both men are quoting scripture, and both are correct, and incorrect. The religion has many denominations, and that is because they dont agree, despite they use scriptures to back them up. The bible lies, the foundation of the faith is deception. THe pastors without exception preach for money, selling books, CDs, videos, etc.. tithes. Some are millionaires, they are story-tellers. Do not be deceived, turn away while you can. I will give you just a few scriptures to prove that Jesus is legalistic, and why you should not believe. Jesus says to be saved. what does he save you from? What he will do to you if you dont worship him. Is that love?? Or being manipulative and coercive to make you believe through fear of the unknown? Mat 5:17 "Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. Mat 5:18 For truly, I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not an iota, not a dot, will pass from the Law until all is accomplished. Mat 5:19 Therefore whoever relaxes one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do the same will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever does them and teaches them will be called great in the kingdom of heaven. Mat 5:20 For I tell you, unless your righteousness exceeds that of the scribes and Pharisees, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Pastors like the two debating are like the pharisees whom the bible says you have to be better than to go to heaven. it is easy to be better than deceivers. But here is some damning requirements of Jesus: Mat 25:41 "Then he will say to those on his left, 'Depart from me, you cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. Mat 25:42 For I was hungry and you gave me no food, I was thirsty and you gave me no drink, Mat 25:43 I was a stranger and you did not welcome me, naked and you did not clothe me, sick and in prison and you did not visit me.' Mat 25:44 Then they also will answer, saying, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to you?' Mat 25:45 Then he will answer them, saying, 'Truly, I say to you, as you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to me.' Mat 25:46 And these will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life."

Hi Dr Brown, I'm from South Africa and new to Christianity. When I listen to Joseph Prince preach about how much God loves me I fall in love with Jesus more and more. Some mornings I sit in the lounge with tears in my eyes and I want my family to feel the same, it doesn't make me want to sin I know Joseph prince said God loves me and has a better life for me and my sin will cause damage in my life and wont be a good testimony to others about Jesus. The main things I learned is to never look to myself but always put my trust in Jesus and that the more I keep my eyes on Him I will be transformed into His image. I am happy for the gift of eternal life and that my sins are forgiven and I am a new creation and grace will empower me to do good works. And now you say Joseph prince is wrong and I read so many articles and just end up back and forward confused now I don't feel the same because I don't know what is true if anything is true because you debate so well and they debate so well both sounds true. The ordinary person like me just ends up confused. I watched some of your videos and read some of your articles and I try to say this in the most humble way it does not cause me to feel the love of God and want to live for Him like when I listen to Joseph prince just being honest I know you are a great man of God but I just cant understand how Joseph prince can be wrong and cause me to be so passionate about Jesus. There are millions of ordinary people like me we just want to have a relationship with God and enjoy His love and His grace that empowers us but now we confused and don't know what to believe.

I have been discussing hyper-grace on a christian web site with Hyper-grace followers. My conclusion is that it is in essence a mystic heresy within Christian thought. 1. New birth you receive a new eternal heart from heaven that can never be lost 2. Walking in faith is just walking in this new heart, while the body leads to sin 3. Hyper-legalism means you can never be righteous or do good things 4. All future sin is forgiven so repentance, confession and geting right with God are irrelevent 5. Fear is now sin, because everything is sorted so fear of God is unbelief 6. Traditional christians are the enemy legalists blocking faith and relying on self righteousness. 7. The law and sermon on the mount are only to show failure and sin 8. God alone changes people, the believer has no responsibility for their walk 9. Anything you do is of self and therefore evil The problem with this faith is there is no way out. Once you accept its premise, sin is not an issue even though you sin, you are by definition hard hearted, blind to right and wrong, and a victim of your own emotions. Talking about love and righteousness is just the enemy, only power and mystical experiences matter. The pay day is God gives you health and wealth, domination and success in this world, you just have to trust Him, He will make you dreams come true. It is no longer Gods will, but you as children of God, exercising your rights as creative beings in this world with command authority. At various points preachers will say Gods authority no longer exists in the earth, you have rights over Him. I would not call this christian, by mystic christian. It takes away the responsibility on the believer to follow Christ and obey His commandments, you obviously cannot, it is up to God to bring that about. It takes the beauty of Christs love and says people are unredeemably lost, so you must rely on mystical influence to do Gods will. I have tried to talk about love, morality, guilt, sin, getting right with God, knowing love overcoming sin, but nothing got through. The words, intention etc are just not there. Most are jaded failed legalists who tried to follow God to the letter but missed love and freedom, so junked it all for this worldly compromise. And because the junked this legalist burden they found massive emotional release, while every day being condemned as sinning constantly ( which is mainly self invented sins ). It is a prison of their own making because they cannot dis-believe in Christ, but want an end to this guilt torment.
