Christianity is not defined by the actions of those who follow it. Christianity is defined by the Word. The Word never changes. People change, and even those who follow the Word. Therefore, one cannot refer to a bloodthirsty society (made up of changing people) in any point in time and, deem this Christianity. Christianity refers to the Word of Jesus! Where History has shown Christians to be barbaric or bloodthirsty, this is pinpointing specific societies in specific points in time. It is referring to the sins of people, not the words of our undying, risen Saviour. The Word does not change! One cannot equate the violence of Christians in History, to Islamic violence. Islam in it's own religious book will condone violence. JESUS DOES NOT! The violence in Islam is supported by its own religion! The coming of Christ DOES NOT! HE ALREADY DIED FOR US. Where those Christians exhibit this, this is disobedience! It is not disobedience in Islam. Remember: Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth! JESUS is LOVE! JESUS is GOD! GOD is LOVE!

It's only in the last few centuries that Christian attitudes have been somewhat civilized and humane. Before that Christianity was just as violent and bloodthirsty as Islam. What changed? It was the rise of humanism, skepticism, atheism, deism and science in the West that tamed the Christians and made them behave for the first time in history. These are the things that have made Christianity a moribund and powerless religion and these are only things that can tame Islam. And Democracy. Let's not forget that. The U.S. was NOT in any way founded on Judeo-Christian principles - whatever they are. Our nation was founded on Democratic principles borrowed from the Greek and Roman cultures.
A Christian martyr says, "I will die for my beliefs." A muslim martyr says, "YOU will die for my beliefs.”
Christianity is a faith in which God sent his Son to die for you. Islam is a religion in which God requires you to send your son to die for him.
If a muslim burns your Bible, you will pray for him. If you burn a muslim's Bible (Koran) he will try to torture you and kill you.
If Christian parents have a son or daughter that renounces Christianity and becomes a muslim, the Christian parents will pray for them and still love them. If muslim parents have a son or daughter that renounces Islam and becomes a Christian, the muslim parents will do the muslim community an "honor" and kill them. If the parents choose not to do that, the muslim community will do it for them.
