Agreed, Alan. Perhaps one reason that some homosexuals claim to have been "born that way" is that the psychological injuries that can lead to same-sex sexual attraction often occur at a very early age. For instance, typically lesbians have experienced a trauma that interrupted bonding with their mother during their very first year of life. So, ever since they can remember, many lesbians have only been attracted to other women. But of course, the homosexual condition is not genetic, and to claim that God created you that way is completely false. In addition, the homosexual lifestyle is basically a defense mechanism to ward off the terrible pain of inner emotional deficits. It's a lot like abusing drugs or alcohol—makes you feel good in the moment, but in the long run does a lot of harm. Anyway, the good news is that God can heal the homosexual condition. For those who want to learn more, the book "The Broken Image" by Leanne Payne is a great resource that describes both the causes of the homosexual condition and how to pray for individuals suffering from it.

Claiming to be gay, and saying you were born that way, is an affront to God who creates us all. Yes we are flawed as a result of the fall, but that is no excuse to violate the clear Word of God which states that such persons will not inherit the kingdom of God. To live in a delusional world living contrary to obvious human nature is a form of mental and emotional illness. During those quiet times of reflection all homosexuals are plagued by that reality.

I honestly did not hear the President say anything that was mocking to the words of Jesus. He's a man of the world, an unchurched man, if he he said anything like that, I really don't think he meant it that way. I'll still go with the old sinner who is trying to change his ways, rather than a smooth-talking liberal who said he believed in real marriage, and did everything he could to undermine it, along with working against Christians every day for 8 long years. As far as those here who still cannot understand Dr. Brown's clearly-explained position, you are completely correct, Dr. Brown, and I thank you for saying what the rest of us can't say on social media because we will be destroyed. You will never convince those people, their consciences are seared. The worst ones are the ones who say they are Christians, but chew you out for condemning what is clearly spelled out in God's Word as a sin. But, you still have to tell the truth. The words of God will be the judge against them on That Day. What is heartbreaking, is the "christian" leaders who condone sin, and lead people into everlasting judgment. Matthew 15:13-14 He replied, “Every plant that my heavenly Father has not planted will be pulled up by the roots. Leave them; they are blind guides. If a blind man leads a blind man, both will fall into a pit.”

We believe that our values are better and more loving than those of God, clearly expressed in His word. They are not.

A homosexual leader is a big bad example to the world! I don’t believe in mistreatments of any homosexuals or lesbians but I do feel is a type of mental illness and bad behavior. Even if there is no religion of any kind homosexual behavior and abortion is not normal.

Thank you Dr. Brown for standing firm on the Word of God. I do not refer to myself as a christian because of the many swine and wolves in the churches today; across many denominations. I see the compromise and the tossing of God's Word out the window. Compromise widely excepted: LGQBP refer to self as christian, denominations refer to self as christian, non-believers refer to self as christian. Just look at the questionable negative comments by those who are “enlightened” and “identify’ as Christian. According to the Word, one in a relationship with the One and only true God of all eternity has the power to "discern between the righteous and the wicked, between one who serves God and one who does not serve Him.” Today there is a remnant who serve the living God. Small ‘c’ christian intended.

Yet Dr. Brown enthusiastically supports a 3xs married, 2xs divorced serial adulterer who bribes porn stars to keep quiet. Tell us again that you’re no homophobe, Dr. B.

According to you Dr. Brown, the “stark contrast” to Trump’s behavior is that “…he has kissed his partner at public rallies”… and even worse, he did not apologize for being a homosexual? Showing compassion and love for another human being is just intolerable for you, while the complete lack of compassion and basic human decency is fine as long as the right judges are put on the bench. I think Rauser is spot on. And yes, your ideas should be marginalized since they kill people.
